    Default Liberty or death...slow build

Well I have an 06 Liberty that is dying to be a worthy trail rig and with a small budget I am going to try and make it happen. I did some work tonight, added new turn signals and removed the front bumper fascia, have plans on a custom built winch bumper. The new turn signals are round to match the hedlights and the factory fogs that are already there. Anyway, here are some pics so far with a long long way to go....

A little flex on the broken Passat wheel

    Beginning of winter camo accents

    A few stickers

    Blurry but both lit up

Light picture, you can see the bumper gone, I personally like it better without that huge plastic piece on there, need to figure out a way to cover the windshield washer bottle. Probably use some of the old wheel well inserts to cover it since they did before

ARB winch bumper w/ winch, frankenlift, and some TJ Rubi wheels with 31's and it could be a trail beast!

actually possibly going SAS, ford 9" and D44 (because they are available) with about 5-6" lift and 33 or 35s with custom built winch bumper by a friend with a tube bender and welder who does it professionally plus a rear to semi match the front.

Hey all, got a CB from the wife and installed it and put on some stickers. If MilJeep (?) could tell me his feelings on the one I had made for here I would appreciate it. I have a friend who owns a shop and made me a custom sticker for this site, I was not sure if there would be an issue or not with it but if there is let me know and I will do what I need to make it right. (Also just as a side note, I have contacted Admin to inquire about their feeling on the sticker so will go with whatever they say on the issue)

Liberty on front, and custom MilitaryJeepers.com sticker

    Closer pic of MilitaryJeepers sticker

    Antenna placement

CB placement, wires under headliner and down A pillar, hidden all the way back

Mic placement, comfortable and near everything else I need, plenty of clearance and room.

Got a new window sticker on the front tha matches the MilitaryJeepers.com stickers I had made and added a couple tow hooks the other day.

New window sticker, looks better than the blocked letter one

Tow hook placement, in 1/4" steel and bolts hidden by the box covers on the bumper so it looks clean

Overall as of today, still a long way to go, a LONG looooong way lol

The only problem I will caution you WRT a SAS is the unibody. KJs aren't built like the old XJs and ZJs. My wife used to have an '05 KJ and I was going to use an XJ D30 to make it easier. It can be done, but plan, plan, plan and plan some more. I don't want you getting half into the swap and find your snag.
