Should have an open Dana 60 front and GM 14 bolt with a detroit in the rear. Not sure about the gears, though.

Anyone know what Axles and Gears came in a Normal Army CUCV? I think out DRMO is about to sell some at auction and was thinking the axles might be a nice upgrade over my Dana 44's just not sure.

Yup, 4.56s D60 & 14 bolt with detroit.
You'll need to upgrade to a larger tire size... 14b's are freaking huge.
It depends on whether you are talking about a blazer or the pick-up. The blazers have a 10 bolt front and a 10 bolt rear. The 1and1/4 tons (pick-ups) had a 60 up front with a 14 bolt rear.
I was a private when the Army got the CUCVs. Does that mean I'm getting old?
Edited out the stupid alcohol influence parts.

I thought the blazers came with the 44/10 bolt and gov locks, but the truck came with the 60/14b and an actual detroit. At least everything I've found on them so far claims that.
The front was not open on the trucks. I don't know what was in there but I do remember getting my thumbs beat up from the steering wheel spinning.

some of them had posi's in the front. almost 100% sure it's a detroit in the rear, the gov loc was only in the civilian trucks. And the gov locs work really well, so well that they blow themselves up... the gov locs look pretty close to what a detroit looks like.
