So I was out yesterday and my tranny blew on my 97 TJ. And I was wondering if anyone could help me out with the following Question..... Can I take a Jeep Cherokee Tranny and swap it out for mine? Keep in mind my jeep is an Automatic with I6.
Thanks!
Ben

I used my tj xfer case. Just redrilled the mounting holes on the trans to clock my tcase back up. Xj clocks them down

I'm actually thinking my Transfer case might be out, because of the way its acting. It makes a sound like the gears are spinning but my axles are disengaged from the drive train. So I might have to swap that out.
