    Question So whaddya run?

I'm looking into a new muffler for the 5.2. What is everyone else running, why, and how does it do? I am looking for a little growl (the 6 year old likes the sounds), maybe a little performance boost, and decent longevity. I have had Flowmasters before, liked them, but am exploring other brands.

On my Jeep, I have a 3 chamber Flowmaster. I have run others in the past such as glasspacks, cheap turbo mufflers, and Hooker Aerochamber. The Flowmaster is the clear winner.

I love Flowmasters. Nothing beats there quality, sound, and ability to take a severe beating in the rocks. I tried the new welded knock off at Advance I believe it is made by Thrush. It's on my ZJ rite now and it looks the same but doesn't sound no way near as good. I have a Magnaflow SS muffler on my XJ 4.0L. It has been there since 01 and has 100k miles on it, it still looks new and sounds mean. If it's a street driver then that would be a way to go, but I don't think it would handle abuse well.

    Default Exhaust

I'm running a Gibson catback on my '04 TJ, everything fit up well and I've had no issues with it. I like the note, not too loud but not stock, and my ass dyno felt a little better low end grunt (also have TB and intake mods)...off the line.

On my WJ I used to have, I use a Borla catback, seemed great, good note and modest ass dyno power gains (4.7HO), my only issue with the system at the time was that the provided Borla exhaust tip got rusted to hell really quick...I was gonna bitch but ended up selling the GC.
