Default Supported a MJ Vendor today, Marathon Seat Covers

Well, after hemming and hawing about when I was actually going to order my seat covers, I went ahead and did it today. Marathon Seat Covers is a vendor here and it was actually a fellow MJ that told me about them before they became a vendor. I wanted MARPAT, waterproof and I thought I might want neoprene since it is waterproof. Only problem with neoprene is that wearing jeans and other rough materials I have seen neoprene wear thin. Marathon Seat Covers are made from Cordura, think about your seabags or some other military gear. Cordura is naturally water resistant but they add a waterproof backing, much like the Marine "waterproofing bag" to make it actually waterproof. It is a little more expensive than your Wal-Mart seat covers or any other waterproof cover but the combination of the color I wanted and the durability of Cordura, pretty much sealed the deal for me. When they arrive in a month or so I will post an intitial review and later on in the summer after a little use I'll update with a wear SITREP.

The color I ordered was Marine Digital Camo.

Seat covers came in the other week while I was away, so I'm just now getting a chance to look at them. They look really good. I will give further reviews after I get them on shortly and a few months later when I've had a chance to break'em in.

For now, there are two pieces of material in this picture. One is the seat cover, the other is a brand new piece of my MCCU. Which is which?
