    Default This sucks

My stealer is looking for my Wrangler for me. I used the Jeep website and have found a bunch with just about every thing I want the Wrangler equipped with, but none of the other dealers will let theirs go. That means I will probably have to order. I have already made a deal that I like with this dealer and put down a $500 deposit so I can't change.

I really don't want to wait 6-8 weeks to get a new Shara Unlimited.

Change 2, they just found one and it will be delivered to us on Saturday!

Had to accept one with the Nav package for an extra $1,550 but what the heck, it's only money

That nav package is pricey but from what I understand it's pretty cool. Does offroad tracking along with the normal stuff other navi's do.

I take delivery at 10 AM Saturday morning.

I should be able to post a photo by tomorrow night, hopefully it will already be muddy.

Sweet!!! I'm super jealous! But my wife said if I sell my F150 and my (gulp!) XJ, I can buy a new/fairly new JK

I'll still have my CJ for hardcore wheeling, and the JK can get built up over time!

If you must, sell the XJ. If you really have to, sell the wife. Don't sell the truck, you'll regret it 5 minutes later.

I would rather have bolth a pickup and an XJ over a JK. You can haul a lotta stuff in that F 150 and XJ's are awesome. Never knew how much I needed a pickup until I got the Manche. Im not a JK hater but there is too much electronic crap on them and the 3.8 sucks. The older JK's with auto trans are now under recall because some are catching on fire.

Id wait untill there are good used lower priced JK's out there, then drop a V8 in one like Chrysler should have done in the first place.

Picked the Sahara up this morning about 10 or so. Took an hour to sign my life away and put me in hock for the next five years.

Salesman tried to 'deliver' the Jeep but it was obvious he didn't have a clue. He could not locate the stud lock key and says he will get back to us.

He's not sure whether or not the DVD player works or not as he thinks it might be disabled according to Illinois law. But he's sure we will be able to find sopmebody that knows.

About what I suspected. This is my first Jeep and I knew more than he does just because I belong to Jeep forums.

Did about 200 miles today. My wife insisted it was her turn to drive the new car first although we botrh know that she has used that same arguement for the last four or five cars. After 100 miles she let me have a turn. The Jeep actually rides better then our Jetta TDI but the difference in power is very apparent and of course fuel milage (the Jetta averages 46 mpg) but we knew that before we bought it.

No mud today but we're headed for Wisconsin tomorrow and maybe then.
