    Default EMPI carb/DUI distributor

Does anyone have suggestions on setting up a EMPI carb and DUI distributor. I have a 85 CJ w/ 258 I6. After reading I learned i need to regulate the fuel pressure to 3.5 psi or less. I'm wondering if anyone has any other suggestions i.e... (Plug wires, spark plug type/gap) I'm not trying to pass an emission test, but i don't want to wear out the cylinder walls with gasoline either.

Thanks in advance for any inputs

I have the same setup with a Weber 38/38. As far as plug wires, just make sure that they are at least good quality 8mm. I set my plugs to .50" and timing to 12 degrees. Make sure you use a Holley fuel regulator. I went through a couple of JUNK pieces before I figured that out. If you come across a Mr. Gasket regulator don't even mess with it, just throw it away ASAP! I run mine at about 3 PSI and it works great!
