I work in the auto parts industry. None of the aftermarket suppliers make an exact replica of the factory gas cap. I bought mine at the dealership. It even came with the tether.

It's one of those crappy little silver things. So where can I get a replacement without getting a small loan to cover DC's price?

I picked up a non locking cap for my 98 at autozone for about $8. exact copy of the non locking I have on my 97. I just hated using the damn key every time I wanted to fill up.
