I'm looking for any info on good junk yards to pull from for my 47 Willys. Any pointers would be nice. Please help.

Don't know of any out that way, but if your not already on the CJ2A page, it's got tons of info!

And lots of parts for sale/barter. Great bunch of guys and gals on that site: http://www.thecj2apage.com/forums/forums.html

BTW: Welcome to MJ!! I'm also HillBillE on the CJ2A forums. Have a '46 and a '47 my dad and I are fixing up.

    Default Question

You mind helping me figure out what all the different knobs and such are? I know the lights, emergency brake, dash light and choke. But there is a metal pull knob left of the steering column and a black plastic knob on either side of the dash light that I really have no clue about. I'm sure one is for the dimmer but I don't really know. Help please!!!

Not sure myself Just started teardown on the '47, and I'm learning as I go.

The metal one may be a throttle control. Some with PTO's had a throttle control, to hold the RPMs up.

One of the black plastic knobs might be a heater control, if it ever had/does have a heater in it. Not all the heater switches were marked 'heater' on the knob.

The info on the CJ2A page will answer that, if the knobs are from the factory, or a dealer add on.
