    Default 350/350 turbo with 231 in a 95 wrangler

Here we go MJ nation I get to put the V8 in the jeep that it has needed, the 2.5 four banger is gone along with the pile of JUNK 904 auto trans. that I had in and out more times than ever should have ever done. To let every on know what the jeep has done to it now. It is sitting on 33's and 3in in springs 2in in shackels and a 2in body lift. With stock dana 30 front and 35 rear. To start i have the 3 row alum. rad. installed and my transfer case adapter should be here tommorrow so i can line up my motor mounts before i weld them in.

Nice... look forward to watching this.
Do you plan on upgrading your axles? I can't imagine the V8's going to be to friendly to them.

Yes I plan on swaping both front and rear hopfully soon after I get done with the V8 swap, Just not sure what way I want to go yet, but i want to be able to drive it daily. I have a dana 300 on the way that i can filp or leave the way it is. But i think i'm going to try and find a set of axle from the 67ish bronco to go under it (44/9in) But then again you never know what you might find when you have money to spend.

I will putting Bronco axles under my YJ as well because I like the narrow width. If you go the Bronco route go the 72-77 years because you can get the larger spline axles. The D44 is a driver side diff so you would have to clock the Dana 300. If you go the D44 f/r Scout route they are passenger side diff and the 300 would mount as is.

Depends on what i find when i look a little harder i really like having my diff on the driverside and the 9in ford rear but if i find a set of scout axles at the rite price i might just go that way (it all depends on the funds)

Worked about half a day today on it and got I got the drive train in and welded in the motor mounts and worked over the skid plate to get it tucked back up and get my dive line angle looking good. I ended up cutting the mounting point for the transmission mount to and boxing it in a moving it up an inch so my front drive shaft and tranfer have enuff room I think it turned out good. Now i need to find some block hugger headers and work the wiring and plumb the fuel lines.

Looking good... Might take on a similar build if I find a good deal on a YJ or CJ that I can build up little by little over time... Maybe I will just hook up a 350/350 Turbo setup in my XJ.... darn unibody!!!
