    Default Jeep Brute

Is anyone else as intrested in building a Brute as i am. I can't understand why more people don't talk about them. Maybe it's the 9K cost for the kit?

    Anyone?

I have wanted to do one for the longest time. The cost is the BIGGEST issue for me. I also like to keep a seat in the back for my daughter, who loves the open top during the summer.

Thanks for the idea. I haven't seen the Rubitrux before. I like the idea of saving a few bucks. I still think the Brute has a certain bit of originality to it. But you've definitely got me concidering the Rubitrux. I'll have to wait until this spring when they make the kit available to do it yourself.

Rubitrux remind me of the old "penny racer" toy cars. Too short & stubby.

I like the Brute. I'd make on if I could

Had to bring this back up

Found my pic of "Frankie", a very well done CJ2A 'pick up', with a flat head V8! Guy on the CJ2A page built it, and I like it!

Why would you want a Brute??? If you want a pickup style jeep then stick with the real thing and buy a CJ-8 Scrambler. They look way better than the Brute and you can find one a hell of a lot cheaper than buying all of the stuff and then all of the pain in turning a good jeep into a truck.

not gonna lie... I think those Brutes are awful looking.
