I haven't seen Rusty's stuff yet myself (the steering stuff, anyway)

    What type of rig?

On my XJ I run stock V8 Grand Cherokee steering. Same taper on the TRE, but the tie rod is much beefier. (works on TJ's too)

Best part, you can get replacement parts at any auto parts store.

Otherwise, I've seen the IROR set up, very nice stuff, and excellent customer service.

I do not reccomend it. I ran the Rustys steering conversion on my 2000 xj for a few months. Doesnt align very well. I went to the Rustys over-knuckle system and liked it better. A bit of cutting and welding but its solid and aligns perfectly

I as well suggest the OTK setup.. been running it for years now on my MJ and short of a bit of spray lube from time to time.. i only had to set the alignment once and forget about it no matter what the trails had to throw at it,,

Just for kicks i have a few Pics for some fun..

I sorry the pics are over 5 years old.. sorry.. i dont have anything newer but this was not too long after i put the set-up on.. But i plan on running it on my TJ. Using this set-up all bump steer is gone running 33's and no flex when hard steering on the trail. Yup is a bit more then bolt on.. but the outcome is well worth it..

The Dual shock set-up is over kill. and this is the lowest lift "I" would suggest.. (4 inch )
