    Default CJ Wiper Switch

I need some help connecting the wires to my Wiper switch. Does anyone know which wires plug it to the prongs on the back of the wiper switch. I have a total of 5 wires that need a home. 3 from the wiper motor, and 2 from the wiring harness labeled wiper switch. Thanks in advanced for the help!

I'll have to see if I still have that diagram.

I have intermittent wipers now, from an '84, but my original was just Hi/Lo/Off.

I burned up a switch becuase I got the power wrong

I'll see if I can find the diagram, hopefully I printed it out, as my computers both crashed and I lost all my info.

Are you on the 4WDH forum? There's a guy on there (used to be, anyway) by the name of John Strenk, he knows everything about the CJ wiring.

He's on a couple other forums as well.

I hopped on the forum and did a search, didn't find anything for it

I know there are some CJ specific sites also, just can't think of them right now.

I'll be in the shop tomorrow, I'll check my manuals.

Thanks chet for the e-file. I'm sure that will come in handy. My problem is that i have is the wires are all seperate. I don't have any way to ID the wires 5 seperate wires and where they plug into the back of my switch. I have noticed that most diagrams show the wires all conected to a larger female plug that conects into the back of the switch.

Do you still need the color codes to the wires?

I'm not sure if i need the color code. What i think i need is a labled diagram of the backside of the switch illistrating which wire goes where.
