    Default Let's See Your Trail Fixes

    This is one of my favorites. My buddy was lucky his wife was with him to offer up a replacement diff plug when he lost his on the trail.

    Well, it doesn't come close to the first one, but.....

    I bent my new tie rod, and after striaghtening it, I slid my Hi-Lift jack handle over it, to keep it from bending again.

    dont have any pics, but had to rebuild a thermastat housing out of jbweld and cardboard. got the guy off the mountain and around town for over a week.

    I don't have any personal knowledge of this trail fix, but I saw the pics and thought I would share. Apparently he drove it off the trail like this for about 2 miles.

    A YJ snapped an axle at Paragon. We had I think a dozen rigs out that day and broke a lot of stuff. We rigged this up to keep the axle from walking out. We could only go walking speed and took us 2 hours to make it back to the office cause he had to be winched over everything after breaking the axle. The trail we were on wasn't called "Impossible Hill" for nothing. We ended up winching 8 of the 12 up it.
