I've been considering the same ones, but have yet to make a move on them, the kidlets won't be in the CJ till I get back from Iraq anyways. I'm gonna keep researching seats for the kids and I'll let know if I find anything.
I've been thinking about installing suspension seats in the back of the TJ for the kids (4 and 6 ). My oldest daughter is now just in a booster and I don't like the way her head is above the seat, so she uses the booster with the back in the Jeep. So I figure the offroad seats might be a much safer option. I've been looking at the PRP pre teen seats. http://prpseats.com/Products/21-pre-...years-old.aspx
My idea is to use the bottom portion of a factory seat frame with the mounts welded to it. That way it can easily be removed and the bench put back in if needed.
Is anyone running these seats for their kids or anything similar? Any other ideas?

To my fellow Veterans that served and protected our country thank you. To those who live on our shores and continue to disrespect our history... leave.
I ordered the PRP preteen seat. It is a little big for my daughter, but she is a small child. I don't have it mounted in the Jeep yet, as I am still in Iraq. Will get it installed in a few months though
Here are some pics of her seat, and her in the seat. I got a 5 point harness with it too....looking to make a little bit of a booster for her if she doesn't grow by the time I get home.
Will get plenty of pics during the install.

Hmm... I've been thinking along those lines for sometime now. Didnt know they made "kid" seats. I as thinking of finding some high back drivers seats ( maybe something from like an S-10 pickup) and mounting them in the rear. Just wondering if I could make 2 of them fit back there?? Regular Jeep rear seat doesnt offer any back and neck support in the event of a wreck.
Will 2 of those PRP seats fit side by side back there?? Seems like they might not in my YJ

She is 6 going on 7. However, she is short for her age. Don't know how tall really, haven't measured her.
What about a suspension bench seat with headrests?
