    Default Electrical Setup

Okay, I mentioned this once before but can't find it or remember.

I need to set up something that I can plug accessories into like my CB, stereo, etc. All I'm looking to do is run something straight off the battery into that I can hook multiple items into. Thoughts?

Are you using cigarette lighter ports or looking for a place to just run wires to.

If you are wanting a place to run wires to use a distribution block. You can run a 10 or 8 gauge wire from battery with inline fuse to the distro block inside cab and then run whatever you want off it. The 10 or 8 gauge wire will hold enough current to power whatever you put to it. The only problem i see is finding a disto block that has an output that is small enough for your other wires for the accessories.

Go to a marine store and buy a power terminal block.

Then use 10 gauge wire from batt to power terminal block.
Some of them have fuses some don't. I prefer the fuse ones.
From there you can hook-up cbs,etc etc.
    Good luck.

Yeah, I'm looking to run some 8 gauge or something off the battery to a pre fused box to plug accessories in. I just have to find a weather-friendly place to do it because I plan on running this thing as my daily driver/explorer rig. Been driving it for two days and finding excuses to take it out.
