regardless of the steering wheel size, it will take just as many rotations to go from full lock to full lock. Put bigger tires on there.... that will make it smaller![]()
Perhaps its because the stock wheel has such a large diameter, but it takes me way too many turns to get to lock. I'm already planning on getting another wheel and keeping the stock wheel for later, but is there anything else I can do?

Haha, right however a smaller wheel will make turning my school bus wheel that much easier.
I would say durango box if it were a TJ, stronger, but larger turning radius since it hits it's limit sooner..... Wish I could help with yours though.

maybe you just need stronger arms...
you can get a steering quickener, alot of dirt track cars run them. you can get them in different ratios as well. i wouldnt run one on the street though.
yeah, i think the wheel bit will be the winner. if not, we'll see
Larger steering wheel has less turns lock to lock. Like a larger tire less turns for the same distance. That and more to yank on is why older vehicles without power steering had big wheels. To get quicker ratio you need to replace the steering box.

Jeffb_79 was correct, the number of turns will be the same reguardless of what size wheel you use. A larger wheel will give you more leverage in hard to steer situations, conversely a smaller wheel will be harder to turn.
If you're to lazy to turn the wheel go with full hydro and a joystick.![]()
Haha. Yeah, I realized after what I wrote that it seemed silly. I'll just get a smaller wheel. It's too easy to turn it, maybe if I go smaller.
