CJ, I think it was 130-150 for the rear and the same for the front.

If its 9 leaf I would asume there thin leafs and therefor would have better articulation. Like the alcan set ups I have seen. But alcans are set up individually for your rig. I in my hurry to get a deal have been on my yj with cj springs for a year and have crap articulation. I cant wait to order up yj springs!!! Why not convert you cj to yj springs? Samuri guy kill with it? Just wondering.

I think that the 9 leafs mean that it allows more weight without as much sag.

I don't want to go to YJ springs because I don't want to change the CJ that much. I've thought about it, but I'm not sure. I wonder how much of the "comfort" factor is in people's heads or where they ride in a tired ass CJ or a nicer YJ.

sounds like the pack for the rear. More leafs or thicker leafs (pending manufacturer) but the HD kind are if you are planning to run w/ hard top. No hardtop they are thinner or fewer leafs. CJ hardtop is heavier, think close to 200 lbs.

Well, the reason I'm looking at them is because my cage weighs a metric shit ton. Ask anyone at MVC, CJGumby, or USMCHarleyJeepGuy. Plus, when I go on my trips, I have the dogs, water, fuel, kit, etc.

Yep, figured you had a 7 front.

You can always start with them and if they don't settle a little you can always pull a leaf or 2. That's what I'm 1/2 done with, since I haven't run a hardtop or any top in last 4yrs.

On the pulling leafs you can experiment on which to pull middle or bottome to get different desired results. Especially w/ 9/7 leafs to play with.

What would be the results of unsettling? A higher ride? I know it'll be rougher, but the leafs I have on there are dead dead.
