I have the Nth Degree (AEV) for my YJ.
    Pros
-I really like the design and it seems pretty beefy.
-I like that it has a drain for the oil plug.
-Mounts using several different bolt locations.
    Cons
-Mounts using several bolt locations that are also utilized by upgraded motor brackets. (Brown Dog Industries has some parts that can't be used in conjunction.)

The LJ will soon have Jeep Medic skids.
    Pros
    -Super beefy, 1/4"
-Covers entire distance from T/C skid to oil pan area (Ryan, MilJeep might have installed pictures)
    Cons
    -No oil drain plug hole

I have always liked the Jeep Medic brand but he quit building them several years ago. I found my Jeep Medic T/C skid and engine skid on ebay for $100 or less each. I saw a Nth Degree oil skid on ebay the other day too, $75 local pickup only.

EDIT: I'm not sure if the Jeep Medic is for 97-02 or not. Further research is required.

I have Jeep Medic transfer and engine skids.

    Pros:
It does have a drain hole for the oil pan.
The engine skid bolts to the transfer skid making one solid skid from the front of the engine to the back of the transfer
    It is stout.

    Cons:
You may get a hernia if you try to put it up without help.
It will crush your skull if you let it slip when you get the hernia.
Did I mention it is heavy?

If you can find a Jeep Medic skid, you won't go wrong.

I have the Skid Row. No dislikes and it gets used quite a bit. No issues at all.
