    Default front pinion seal

    i have to replace my seal. i called advance auto and they told me they have one for the trulock but not for a non trulock. i am running arb's and im not there if there is a difference between the 2 seals. i dont think there would be. yalls thoughts?

    What axle? The D30 takes pinion seal #5778, wether a CJ or a TJ

    Type of diff (open/locked/limited) should have nothing to do with the pinion seal.

    yeah i went to advance and they hooked me up. yet another reason why i dont like autozone

    It's very hard to find any parts counter guys/gals that know what they are talking about

    When you do find one, it's worth the trip to that store, even if it's out of the way!!
