    Ground Pounder Fab!!

Eddie makes some great bumpers/tire carriers.

They are super beefy, and he has the frame tie ins needed for oversize tires.

Who ever tod you that the stock location wont hold up is correct(IMHO). I have my 33" mouted for less than a year and for the last two months Im having trouble closing the tailgate. The latch is not aligned due to the weight of the tire, in my case 88lbs v 44lbs of the stock pizza cutters. So fort a short time it will "hold" but eventually you will have to move a stronger tire carrier.

I'll also second the Tire carrier / bumper that Eddie at GPF makes, it's the last you will ever need.

I also recommend the OR-FAB swing away tire carrier. I have had mine for 5 years and it has performed flawlessly. ( I have Eddies rear bumper)

Bestop makes a reinforcement for the tail gate if you are not looking to buy a rear bumper. I ran a 33" on the stock carrier for a while with no issues, but went with a Wilderness set up before I upgraded to 35" tires.
