Default Should I Install Fenders Inside Engine Or Not (Pics attached)

So I'm debating on whether or not to run inner fenders or not? What are your thoughts?

Here is what it looks like currently.........I don't plan on mudding so I'm not worried about splatter but curious as to what others think.

I would run the inner fenders, it will keep the engine compartment alot cleaner.

Definitely run them. Even with them, and avoiding mud, I spend a lot of time cleaning out my engine compartment after each trip.

I would install inner fenders. Some states have laws against not having them/engine sides covered. You can run without a hood or doors and sometimes without outer fenders - go figure!

I think it looks cleaner with them - but maybe it's because I'm getting old and set in my ways.

    Looks good !

It will also be easier to mess with the engine - not that anybody would.

Even avoiding mud, you'll hit some somewhere, sometime!

If it's going to be a DD, I definately would, as water spray from the tires will get everywhere when it rains/snows/is wet at all.

x100000000. Avoid a lot of shit flying into your engine bay by putting them in. When it's running in the rain, all that water is going to do a pressure wash effect on your compartment. That can come back to bite you in the ass on connections and such, not to mention blasting that open air filter with water.
