    Default valve cover cracked

Anyone one got an idea to fix a cracked valve cover long enough for my new one to get here. I have the damn plastic cover and I replaced the seal this weekend and I pulled a good one and tightened It a little to much so now I have a crack that is in the front right by the bolt. BIG CRACK. This is my everyday and it will take at the least 2 weeks. But with my luck with parts a month or 2. Any ideas are welcome

used stuff called "liquid souder" on mine when i cracked it the same way. this stuff dries reletivly fast when warm, and gets rock hard. nice thing is if your cover is silver or chrome, you almost don't notice it. another thing you can try, is if you have a 110 welder and some aluminum wire, be fast with the weld but it will turn out nice as well.

Go off post (the gate by the tower) go down to the main 4 way turn left (299? don't remember it's been 3 years since I was stationed there) go straight out of Graf (don't turn left at the Aldi). out that way past the big ass Officer's housing area on the left is a big home improvement store, dont remember the name. They should sale something that you could use.

oh.. on the left I mean you have to take the off ramp that goes down and around that puts you in front of a fire station.

Some of the valve covers can fit the SBC style valve cover hold down tabs. might try that out.
