You can do it. You probably won't use 5th anymore. I wouldn't go four wheeling until you get em matched up.
There is a guy up here that daily drives a TJ with 36s, 3.73s and a 5 speed. I know he can't use 5th and I don't think he can even use 4th.
My 8.8 came with 4.10, and if I want to get it in February, I can't afford to regear both axles to 4.88. Can I survive on 4.10's on 35's with a 5 spd as my DD?

I can't use fifth as is. They're gonna be matched up to 4.10. A bunch of people here said I should be fine, so hopefully I will. Perfect world would be 4.88's all around, but it'll have to wait. Can't afford to regear both. So I'll just regear front to match back.

What are you running now? I've got 33s with 4.10s and the 4.0. It does OK, but it's not going anywhere fast.

35's with 3.07. The 4.10's are in the 8.8 I'm throwing in at the end of the month.
4 56 for dd man
2012 kawasaki Teryx4
Sold-85 CJ7, 6 inch lift, siting on 36's, welded rear, lots of drain holes
Sold-93 YJ, 4.0,
It'll have to wait. Can't afford to regear the both of 'em, so 4.10'll have to do.
Well if you decided to do the rear only first, disconnect your front drive shaft...unless you need an excuse to go 241 or atlas!
Goin with 4.56's...
