Not sure what all I can say because they attached a non disclosure legal talk thing to their emails to me. But basically, they are evil.

Someone brought up the fact that without signing anything there was no agreement so here are the details.
I placed an order for an upper receiver that they had listed on their website. That was back in '08. I have contacted them several times but could get no info other than that my order was still on file. Meanwhile I continue to receive newsletters advertising new products being offered. I asked why they are creating new stuff instead of fulfilling prior orders. Today they tell me that they re-evaluated the product I ordered and are not going to produce it which = order cancelled along with several other people who ordered the same. I am irritated that they would offer something on their website that was only an idea. I would have preferred to know that a lot sooner instead of waiting forever.

Sounds right to me, it takes 2 to make an agreement.

Sounds like they're trying to cover thier a**** in case of a class action /individual suit.

I know when I build my next one, I won't be ordering from them. You're not the only one who's been burned.

Did they charge your card yet?

Fortunately no charges on the card. That probably would have compounded the problem

Olympic Arms is actually about a 15 minute drive from Fort Lewis. I have been to the factory several times. Looks like a good setup. Talked to the gunsmith there for a while about their products. They seem to know their stuff.

As for your experience, sorry to hear it happened. Hope all works out for you.

My experience with Oly is pretty mixed.....I won't go ANYWHERE near their older stuff, but from what I've seen their newer stuff is pretty OK. (by newer I mean the last couple years)

    What'd ya order?

I usually deal with BCM but Oly was the only company that I found that made (rather, claimed to make) a .17 cal upper. I am just looking for a cheap, fun gun but prefer to stay away from .22 because I have had bad luck with semi auto .22s

I dumped my .17 after evaluating the cost of ammo vs the amount of ammo I wanted to shoot. The .17 is a great little cal but cost too dam much for the ammo
