    Default question about 4L

I put on a 4Ē lift on my TJ, my problem is that I canít get it to stay in 4L. I can get it in but as soon as I take off it pops out. How do I adjust it?

There is an extension bracket for the transfer case that many times are needed after lifting Jeeps. Sounds like the lift you got didn't have one. You likely won't be able to adjust the linkage on the jeep enough to keep it in 4LO. Crawl under the drivers side of your jeep, and look at he transfer case. You should see this:

You may be able to loosen #2 and adjust it enough to get it to work.

I am guessing you lowered your transfer case with the spacers that came with you lift so you wouldn't have any vibration issues?

Teo options, get the bracket that TrailSnail mentioned, install a slip yoke eliminator (SYE) kit and raise your transfer case back to it's original position. Keep in mind that a SYE kit will also involve a new rear drive shaft, so the linkage kit would be cheaper.
