Default Good Jeep shop in Kauai, Hawii

Any one here in/spent time in Kauai?

My sister moved there about a year ago, she just bought an '03 TJ, and needs some front end work done.

Wondering if anyone can reccomend a good alignment place or mechanic.

Or, better yet, places to stay away from!

    Thanks! HB

Just make sure she doesn't send it to the Big Island Fabrifuker called Pyro (Wayne Coatney) otherwise he'll [email protected] up her Jeep as he did mine...........I know Maui has a shop, but I'm almost positive Kauai doesn't. In all honesty, if she's willing to be without her Jeep for a week or two she could ship it via Younger Brothers to Oahu and have one of the shops there do it (if you ship round trip within the same month it's like $125 bucks round trip for the Jeep).........no passengers allowed.

I already warned her about PYRO!! LOL

They both need thier rigs for work, so unless it's major work, she wouldn't ship it.

Right now she just needs the front end checked, possibly aligned.

    It's an '03 TJ with a pro-comp lift (4"? ) and i think 33's.

I tried to explain that it won't drive like her 'burb did

She works at Sears, have to ask her if they have an auto shop.

She has the worst luck with shops! Brought one of her cars to JC Penneys (back when they had an auto shop) They had her so scared to drive it, telling her "If you don't do this, your car will fall apart, it's to dangerous to drive"

She drove 10 mph on the back roads, 15 miles out to my dads. There was one TRE kinda loose Hit it with the grease gun, and replaced it a few days later.

My dad went in to the JCP shop and chewed some serious ass the next day!

So, she's a little gun shy of any auto repair shops, and being new to Kauai, she doesn't know where to go.

Well I hope it works out for her............Hawaii is rough when it comes to reputable shops. People tend to be stuck with what's available and hope for the best.
