Default turn signal wont work when headlights are on

A while back I put some of the MVC Tube Fenders on the front of the jeep. I used little amber trailer marker lights as turn signals. The old turn signals had three wires, these marker lights have two.

When the headlights are off, the turn signals work, thought they blink quicker than normal which I am not concerned about. When the headlights are on, the turn signals don't work in the front or the rear.

    Any ideas?

The three wires you have one is ground/one is running light and the other is
    turn signal.
Since the marker have two wires ground and live.
You need to connect ground to ground wire
and turn signal only to the other wire. You will not have running light.
If you connect the turn signal and running light wires toguetter,
as soon your turn the headlight the markers will lit up therefore
not allowing the turn signal blink. Just disconect the running light
wire. And if you need the running light, then you need to install
another set of markers. Or one with two filaments bulb. Good Luck.

    Note
If you don't know which wire is turn signal.
Use a light tester, turn you signal on and probe the wires till tester begins to blink.

I wonder why they went to 3 wire?

The CJ's are 2 wire, with running and turn on the same bulb.
