i dont know much about line-x but i dont thing rhino lining is gonna stick to well to plastic. why are you interested in doing just the flares? i could be wrong about it sticking but i was just always under the impression it was meant for metal.
Hey guys, has anyone had their fender flares done with either Line-X or Rhino? Or know of anyone who has had it done? I am really considering getting it done but want to here from fellow Mil Jeepers before I do. My supervisor is having his '97 painted with Line-X so I am curious to see how it turns out. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen decent pics of people who have done it and needless to say it looks good...plus i dont want to spend a ton on bushwackers...and as most jeepers know, the originals fade after time...i have done paint and it just ends up chipping off....

i used this a couple of years ago with good results, it just takes time and you should mask the the painted fenders off with tape.

i plan on doing it to my plastic fenders again, but i think i should pull them off and use the mothers power ball to do it. i just need to get off my lazy a$$...i have to fix my front axle and trans leaks first.
All you need is a compressor that can maintain 60psi or more for spraying. Yea we've been doing truck beds on the side, did my whole tub in about 3hours counting prep. Takes about 3-4hours to prep and spray a long bed truck.
http://www.sprayonbedliners.info/ tell them man cave liners sent you.
I like the way Line-X looks. Has a smoother finish almost like the grain on some stock fender flares on the JK for example. Did it to a truck bed with the Line-X and came out real good. Rhino is gonna look rougher and less even unless you have a good sprayer.
