    Default Front bench seat?

Has anybody ever heard of putting a bench seat in the front section of a TJ? A coworker brought up the question as a way to make his TJ more unique and it got me wondering. I can't imagine it being too difficult other than finding one that fits.

It can be done. Korisu has a bench in his CJ. Some CJ's came with a bench seat up front. (Auto tranny and Quadra-trac models)

    Be different for sure.

I had a bench seat in my 93 Toyota pickup. It was a "mini" truck. It was small, it would probably fit well.

As long as you can still get to the E-Brake and can find one that fits? I remember seeing a guy in WA who had a YJ with a jump seat mounted between the two front seats, I think it was an automatic.

Toyota seats would fit I think. I have seen them grafted into CJ's using a pair of YJ brackets and a little fab work (welding) The down side would be making the e-brake fit/work, but some of the toyota seats had the recess at the center so it might work. And I like haveing my center counsel as an arm rest....and where would I set my cold beverages without cupholders?
