    Default Starting circuit problems

After replacing the ign switch I still have no power going from the switch to the starter solenoid. I check voltage along the red wire from the solenoid to the fuse block and have voltage all along it. I removed the switch from the colum and tried it using a small screwdriver just in case I didn't have it set right and still nothing. I re-checked the fuse and all fusible links and found no issues there. Anyone have any other way for me to check the circuit? Is it possible to remove the harness and jump from the red wire coming into the harness straight to the light blue wire leadin out without causing any problems? If it is ok, should it kick the starter with the key on? @HillBillE; @korisu56

    Default Success

Well I got it whopped, and the funny thing is, it was by accident. After having no success finding any problems in the wiring I decided to pull the key cylinder and take a look at the rack gears to see if they were jacked up. While I had the cylinder out I sprayed some good ol' PB Blaster on the gear to clean and lube it up a bit. Then I remembered that I had a new cylinder sitting on the shelf and decided to go ahead and swap it out so my damn keys would quit falling on the floor when I drive. After installing the new cylinder I went thru the range of motion to make sure it was seated right and low and behold it fired right up. Now I just have to replace the split loom that crumbled when I took it off for what ended up being no reason at all.
