I had her up and ready for the trail for my local clubs fall run. Decidedly I went with the easy trail group.
The used 4inch extreme duty RE springs I found on CL performed really well (complaints of being stiff at first but these were used hard. still had lift and flexed perfect). I went with the 35inch rustys shocks to go with the ford f250 shock towers up front. they gave me the most droop possible from my shock with compressed being right as it hit my tube fender. Some last minute fender trimming in the rear helped with the 2inch stretch I added.
The power of the 5.2 was great. I have to continue to learn how to get the most of the new set up when off road. With the 2.5 I would have to use momentum and skinny pedal to get through. Now I have to just let it walk up stuff and tap throttle when needed. this video is an example of me giving too much gas then when I let off it suprisingly just walked up it.
