Yep just know what year/model that motor came from. It will help when you deal with the smog gear and ignition.

What are you putting it in and what trans?

Just FYI. All AMC V8s are essentally the same as far as servicing goes. Like any other engine the various displacments have their own deals but unlike say Ford motors, the AMC 304 shares the same brackets/accessories as a 401 etc..So unless your looking for specs on tollerances or specific numbers almost any V8 manual for the AMC will work.

The Barns & Noble on Academy has manuals, jeep bibles, etc. It's right by the citadel mall, north of Platte.

If you have good search skills, www.scribd.com is a great place to find all types of pdf format manuals. (Lots of other cool stuff on there as well)

I didn't think this came in a manual! Thought it was only an automatic!!!

Haynes should cover you for the Grand Wagoneers that had the 360!!!
