    Default Odd Jeep Knowledge Needed

For my trailer project I am considering the 34x9.5R15 Swamper. I really like it because it's so narrow and tall. So, what factory Jeep wheel has a classic design, is aluminum, is a 15x6 and a 5 on 4.5 lug pattern?

Being odd isn't bad....About the only thing I could come up with off the top of my head would be some of the "turbine" style wheels used on some earlier XJ Cherokee models. Its the wheel pattern that is gonna be you limiting factor. Not much out there in the Vintage/retro/oldschool (insert popular vernachular here) that came in 5 on 4 1/2. Maybe some old GM cars? Not really sure though since I haven't done cars in decades. But the turbines are the only thing I know that is jeep and still looks fairly old.?. I don't remember if they are 15x6 or 15x7...though I think 7 would be a better fit. I run 33x 10.50x15 BFGs on my FS CHerokee using the old Slot Mags which are 7s and work good.
    Good luck...!

    The old YJ's had 5 x 4.5. I had a set of old rims that I sold a while back, but I believe they were 15 x 8.

I believe most of the OEM aluminum wheels were 15" x 8" with a 4 1/2" backspacing. This may limit your options.

Gonna check on these hopefully tomorrow. He says 5.5 lug pattern but that they came off a Wrangler. I'm calling bull and saying they are 4.5, also gonna check the backspacing and width. These may be exactly what I am looking for as I may be able to paint them to match the theme.

Yes, they WILL be 5 on 4.5 but I must have misread your question? I thought you were looking for a wheel style that was more...uh, vintage? Guess its all a matter of what one considers old huh..?
