    I have a Inline 6 motor, Tran automatic, I run 33x12.50x15

And if you have any Idea for a good website to purchase the gears at. and what a good brand would be.

It wold help if you provided more information. What sized tires are you running and what engine do you have? First and foremost it's personal. preference. Then you can go to a gear ratio / tire size chart. It will give you an idea of how your jeep will run on the road.

Engine, tranny, tire size. All important parts. Good link up top.

I am running a 4 cyl, AX5 manual, 35s, with 4.88s. Not bad. Wish I could go hust a hair deeper, but 4.88s is lowest for D30s.

I run 4.56 gears. 4.0L IL6, NP231, Stock 5 speed, 4" SL and 2"BL, 35x12.50x15. I just put them on using deployment money! also put in ARB front and rear with stock axles. I love my gears, now I can actually use 5th gear!

dont run lower than 4.56's in a D30, atleast i wouldnt recommend it. only 9 pinion teeth on the pinion on 4.88's. theres 11 on 4.56's. seen LOTS of 4.88's fail because of lack of gear mesh.

I have heard several people say this. I have even seen pics of it after it breaks. That is something I am willing to risk, at least until I can drop some coin on a front 44.

Thats why I got them. If it was the six, I would be running 4.56s.

4.56:1 will give you great performance and if you ever end up at Ft. Carson you will be all set for the higher altitude and if you stay at sea level you could go up to 35" tall tires without having to re-gear.
