Default What would make engine plugs pop out this winter?

So I walk out to the Jeep today to find two huge icicles hanging from the underside of the engine with two plugs laying on the ground............

My guess, is that when MVC reinstalled my engine they used water and not anti-freeze? The ice is clear, no green or red color so unless there is someone else with a more logical answer, that's my only thoughts.

Along those lines.......now that I have frozen ice in the engine block, what's the changes of the block being cracked?

Hopefully not cracked. That's the function of the plugs to start with. Give MVC a shout and see if they remember what they filled with.

Probably not gonna happen. This is one of the many reasons I don't speak to then anymore as this is one of the many problems I was left with by them.

Thats what happen when is filled with plain water.
The block will not be crack, Thats the job of the freeze plugs.
Now you have to warm the engine SLOWLY and drain the remainding water and fill with
    antefreeze.

The side freeze plugs are easy to install, However the ones inside the
bellhousing are not,due to you have to remove the tranny or take the engine out.
