    Default Snorkel advice

I am going to buy a snorkel in the next couple of days and was wondering if anybody knows where to find a good deal. Ive looked at all the usual spots like quadratec,4wdparts,4x4groupbuy and the best price Ive come up with is 330.00 with shipping, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

There are a lot of threads out there for Cherokee owners on how to fabricate Snorkels for like 20 bucks. Not very hard. I dont think it would be to hard change up the snorkel a little bit for your type of jeep. Then again, most of us cherokee owners are cheep bastards. I know if and when I go to put one on mine, im gonna go the 20 dollar rought and make one. The usually look just as good as something store bought and for a whole hell of a lot cheaper and not really a lot of time into it either.

Also check with Mike at www.4x4rockshop.com. I got my Safari brand snorkel through him years back and he had the best price. You also check with www.jeepsareus.com. They used to sell them.

I put my ARB to the test this weekend Justin. Water up to the windshield several times and the filter was dry as a bone. One of our buddies was not as fortunate, but we found that it was due to the PO's installation error. I'm hooked on these suckers.

Yeah bro I cant wait. A few of my buudies got stuck in the middle of a river this weekend and a snorkel would of helped. Only one of them had water damage to the engine but they all could have carried more momentum to help them through if they had a snorkel.
