Maybe a new addition too the fleet today

this jeep does run and drive but we have been told the transmission slips it will not drive home and will require a trailer SOLD AS-IS WHERE IS, 8 cylinder, automatic would make a great mud truck only 795.00

I'm thinking if the tranny is shot, new junk yard replacemen drive for a while then sell it for $2000 or so.

it runs and drives? but the trans slip's and you have to trailer it? hahaha I think trailering the Jeep means that it doesn't run and "drive". haha

It runs fine the tranny does slip, however, no fluid on the indicator gauge DAH. The only things that are apparent right now are two plastic door latches inside the door dont work, tranny needs fluid and maybe more, valve covers are leaking. Other than that it is in pretty good shape, 202k miles.
It ran and idled like a champ, good tires and cosmetically looks good on the outside, driver seat is ripped, and all the power seats and windows work.

Yea I went with him and its in good shape. My guess is some atf and a bottle of Lucas tranny slip fluid and replace the junk plastic door latch and it should be fine. All the power options work and the motor sounded great. Was a great find.
