    Default Jeep VIN decoder

Found a cool site, with lots of stuff. But what I like, is they have a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) decoder for Jeeps!

Handy if you want to find out where your Jeep was built, what motor came with it, GVW rating, etc.

    http://www.jeepfan.com/tech/tech_vinref.htm

They have some other good stuff as well (look on the upper left of the page) the middle of the 'Home' page looks like one big ad. But the search works good, as do the links on the left.

OK, I got the hint...Sticky it is

The bravest of all Spartans was Dienekes. It is said that on the eve of battle, he was told by a native of Trachis that “the Persian archers were so numerous that, when they fire their volleys, the mass of arrows will block out the sun.”

Dienekes, however, quite undaunted by this prospect, remarked with a laugh, “Good. Then we’ll fight in the shade!”

Here's another handy VIN decoder I've used...

    http://www.compnine.com/

Spits out a pretty good breakdown of the original build sheet...
