Angry 94 grand cherokee 5.2 stalling wont idle

    1994 Grand Cherokee, 5.3, AT, with 200k
I read a few posts on JF seems common but no straight solution. and wanted to hear from our guys.
It was running fine then yesterday it stalled while idling, it was hard to start again then it ran ok fr a few then stalled again while idling.
Changed fuel filter after this it ran fine for an hour so even had a couple stops before parked in the garage and this morning it didn't want to stay running without holding the gas pedal down a little.
It ran smooth and sounds strong but wouldnt idle. So I changed the cam position plate and cap/rotor but still it wont idle without some gas pedal.

Are you getting a check engine light at all? I had a 93 but had the 4.0 that had very similar symptoms, I replaced pretty much every sensor, relay, and solenoid in that damn thing trying to figure it out. Ended up getting a Junkyard ECM and took care of the issues and never gave me a problem after that.

Not saying this is it, but I had a '90 dodge van with the 5.2. It started out not wanting to stay running at idle, had to keep it reved up a little. As time went by it got worse. It sounded and acted like it was flooding out. After about a month, one day it gave up the ghost and would not stay running. Turned out to be the temp sensor had reversed polarity and as the eng got hotter it was sensing colder and dumping more gas into the engine. Never threw any codes.
I'm Mike, make sure you spell it right, because I do not want to get the wrong A$$hole in trouble.

If you do not have time to do it right the first time, how do you have time do do it over?

No CPS didnt change anything. I'll check ecu connections and recheck vacuum lines.

if I hold the pedal around1000rpm or more it will run great, but if I let it go to idle it stalls out.

I'll be home around 5 Thursday

1994 Grand Cherokee, 5.2, AT, with 200k. No Codes shown stalling, won’t idle
Many posts on this so I tried and get the suggestions in one post.
I read a few posts on JF seem common but no one straight solution.

It was running fine then it stalled while idling, it was hard to start again then it ran ok for a few then stalled again while idling (engine at running temp)
If I hold the rpm around a 1000 or more it runs smooth but when it gets close to idle it stalls.

I Changed fuel filter- after this it ran fine for an hour so even had a couple stops before parked in the garage and the next morning it didn't want to stay running without holding the gas pedal down a little.

It ran smooth and sounds strong but wouldn’t idle. So I changed the cam position plate since I was changing the cap/rotor but still it won’t idle without some gas pedal. (Engine cold)

Attempts and solutions from other posts with no codes shown, change, clean, or test: Not saying do all this but just what I got from many ZJ posts with similar problem as mine.
    -Cap and rotor/plugs/wires
-Cam Pos sensor, (inside distributor cap under rotor) can be tested with -voltmeter.
    -Coil
-Water temp sensor, goes bad and sends wrong info.
    -Crank Pos Sensor
-Air Idle control valve, causes fluctuating idle
    -TPS
-ECU connections- be careful with pins (clean and zip tie)/ECU swap/ reflash
-Fuel pump swap/ clean out, bad wire going to it
    -Fuel filter
    -Fuel pressure regulator
    - Alternator connections/test, change
    -Wire harness connections
-Vacuum lines, get brittle, cracked (I had 3 that broke while changing cap and rotor)
