Hi-Lift mounting options

'84 CJ. Need to know options on where to mount. It's looking like the hood will be the best bet. I'd like to mount inside, but I would rather have it locked. I have the 60" one. Anyone have ideas?

Would. It fit strapped to the rear angled bars on the roll bar?

i disassembled mine, took the base off of it as well and mounted it inside the cab with the bar under the door jamb. the lift mechanism and base plate were mounted to the floor with spring loaded fasteners.

I built brackets for mine look like the 4rac brackets but 13dollars in metal and a quick shot of paint and good to go.

the 4 racks are the hood mounts?

there universal mounts bumper, hood where ever there is a flat surface.

i really don't have a lot of options there. at least not with my bumpers. maybe on my swingout, but i'm getting that redone shortly
