Here's what I got, 87 XJ, 4.0 had pukegoat, now has AX15 from a 90 YJ. I'm in the process of rebuilding the tranny after the 3-4 shift fork broke. What I need is a good part number for the pilot bushing, not the needle bearings, the bushing that holds the needle bearing in the crank. All the parts stores have is the needle bearing, which is NOT what I need.
I would call Advance adapters or Novak. When I did my swap AA was very helpful and took about two minutes for the guy to find the right part. After I ordered from AA I found the same one at Napa for about 5 bucks. But Napa had no clue what I needed before I had the specif part number. Hope that helps. Sean
