Keep the D30 if you're going to leave it open in the front. I would suggest the D44 if it's going to be locked. Unless you are just talking about the rear, in which case it shouldn't be to hard to find with matching gears to the front. If you're planning on regearing, that doesn't really matter too much anyway. D44's can usually live a pretty long life with 35" tires, especially at both ends. I've wheeled the snot out of mine with 44's and the worst thing I've done is blow a tire off the bead. Just my .02.
