    Default $ 5.00 lights

My wife came home from Wal-Mart last night with a set of driving light she picked up for $5.00. (don't worry they only had one I ask her). I could not really find a good place to use them. I ended up putting them under the Fairlead. Hope they stay out of the way. First I had to get the wires past the fire-wall. Took a few pics to share.

    The Fire-Wall

Brought the wire around to the battery.

Here were I mounted the switch. I bought these today. The one that came with it was square and mounts under the dash.

I had a good thing going at first. Then I broke this piece (goes under the shift boot).

    Ill try gluing it tonight.

Here are a few of the lights them self. They should be safe and out of the way.

And to top it all off it looks like I need to bust some rust after this winter. Anyone want to help? Anyway hope they workout and if not I'm out the $5.00. Maybe some of the other wal-mart will have some on sale. She said she found this and they also had some oil filters for a $1.00.

Looks good, had to take a double take to find them. Should work real well for lighting up the trail and helping with recoveries.

They look like the same lights I have that I'm gonna run as auxiliary backup lights.

Good looking job. Did you wrap the intake to keep the heat off and did you notice any difference.

Yes, I did wrap the intake and I've had it for sometime but never put it on a dyno. I know it lowered intake temps (used a temp gun).

The lights were not the brightest I've seen and didn't really make a difference pointed straight. I ended up turning them to the outside and down and it fills the corners out. I think it will workout great. They are more like rock lights now.
