Maiden Voyage
Got the Scrambler out on Sunday, but due to not doing a complete PCC/PCI I went out with a set of dead batteries in the camera. It performed very well until I found a bottomless mud hole and a gigantic stump or rock in the middle of it, sheared off 3 out of 6 bolts on the skid and mangled it up pretty good. Get a clocking ring from Great Lakes offroad and a speedi-sleeve, for about $75 you can clock the D300, and run a flat skid!

Oh Yeah, I have a stock skid/crossmember/tranny mount that's in good shape if you need one.

Yep, they sure are. I do plan on a tummy tuck in the future, HH6 has cut Jeep funds to GAS ONLY for a while. I think I'm gonna modify my current trans/tcase adapter to clock it if I can, but if ya have the part #'s hanging around that'd be great if ya post'em up just in case. And thanks for the offer on the skid, I'll hit ya up if I tear up the other one off the 7.

Will a 231 clocking ring work on the 300? If so, I have the schematic drawing for one that I could post up.
That's a good ? I'd have to do some research on that, right now I'm running the AA T18a to Dana 300 adapter, don't really want to go much more as far as adding more between trans and tcase, I'm on the verge of needing new shafts as it is and adding another 3/4 to 7/8 inch might just put me over that line of pulling DS apart at full flex. For now I'm gonna swap the skid from the 7 over this weekend and than I'll do some measuring to see what I can do as far as adding a clocking ring or if someone makes a clockable trans/tcase adapter.
