    Default adjustable control arms?

    i have a small 3" lift right now but will have a soa with 6" in the next year or so. i need control arms bad. should i get the reg ones or adjustable ones. long arm kit is also in the future. thanks mark
    1985 4runner, 22re FI, 5:29 gears, detroit in the rear, 36x13.5x20 irok bias, custom front bumper, sliders and rear bumper with tire carrier, engo 10k winch with synthetic line. Ifs steering box with trail gear crossover steering, bushwacker fender flares, 11" spline front drive shaft. doubler tcase single stick, chevy 3/4 ton 63" in the rear ,Rears Up Front.

    2013 Dodge ram 1500 Outdoorsman- hell bent steel 2.5 front coil spring spacer, top gun customz 1.5 rear coil spring spacer.

    If you are going to a six inch in the future I would say save and go to the long arms.
    ITS GOT SOME SMALL THINGS DONE TO IT.

    See above, if you are planning on lifting the jeep higher in the future save your money for the new lift.

    nope they are sua... not sure why they did it like that though. i need new control arms for now any way. i am going to be jumping up to 33" tires hear shortly. need the extra room front to rear as well as the fact that i have 23 is year old bushings... i just need to find the cheepest set i can now thanks for all the help guys.

    Another MJ!

    Glad to meet you. For 33's, most got to SOA in the rear, dropped front lower control arm brackets in the front and adjustable control arms. If you are going long arm, the upper arms are usually adjustable anyway. RE made a good lift but they are out of buisness for now.

    x2 on the drop brackets. Rough Country makes a decent set at a good price. I would suggest adjustable CAs. At the worst, when you move up to LA, you can sell them and recoup some money.

    i was confused i read soa control arms and my head hurts then i realized mj so it all makes since now

    well, i would prolly take the radiator cap off, drive a YJ under it and start from scratch with a real jeep...
