Default 30 to 35 spline conversion dana 60 REAR

    1978 F250 dana60 rear

I read, bore the outers to accept 35 spline shafts bore from ~1.4.." to ~1.62". Except in some rare cases the tubes diameter is a bit to small for the thicker 35 spline axleshaft.
Not that complicated looking of a task, however, the room for screwing it up seems pretty high.
I have the current axle disc brakes, trussed, geared, 4linked and of course a TJ kit rather not lose all that money in it.

    Are there other options.
    -bore outers
    -buy a dana 70

look up the Jantz D67. i believe its jantz that makes it. google D67 on pirate. i would go to a semi float with 35 spline. its simplest (i feel) and a strong setup.

*edit* you can pick up BB 9" ends for under $120 and reused most of your stock brake setup. even better if its already disk.

bore the outers or cut them off and have 70 outers welded on.

just about any solution other than boring is gonna require some fabbing. Why are you switching the D60 shafts when you still have 30 spline D44 up front?
