    Army household 6 dilema????

    Ok so im here in Korea, my wife has been driving the ol' YJ. She now says she hates it the way it is and says if she lands this new job she wants to go to TXPRO and have sean drop an V8 in it! so here is the dilema, 350? or should i try to get her to find a L1, i have thought diesel also. oh and my love for her has grown so much!!

    I would do a 350. I am looking at a 304 AMC because its souped up and it cheap and a direct bolt to my tranny!

    I know if your YJ has a 258 and the ax-15 it bolts to early AMC. Not sure about the 360 though. Oh and I only checked the carb engines also!

    Diesels are heavy and they smell. Have you seen the price of diesel? I'd go with a fuel injected Chevy SB.

    don't go with a suped up 304, a stocker is ok but any work done on it and your asking for headaches, 30 deg valve seat angle , no valve clearance for a cam w/o custom head gaskets ect ect

    the 4BT swap would be the ideal, but it might be more trouble than it's worth if you aren't a diesel mechanic.
