The Jeep is burning!
Well I was having charging issues and got that all cleared up, but today I had a engine fire!!
I managed to put it out before it did major damage, but I lost a lot of tubing and wire casing.
I could use some help re routing wires and hosing! I will feed you and get some beer!

@Sr. Beaver Thanks man! I think I am good though! I did the nutter bypass today and am rerouting the vac lines right now. Had to take a brake though! I should have it back on the road by tomorrow! Would be tonight, but I have had a few beers! I will take a some pictures of the finished product in a few.
Now if anyone has a Motorcraft 2100 carb to swap for a Weber 32/36 That would be awesome! I am thinking about hitting the junkyard tomorrow and seeing if I can find one.

I have a Holly on the CJ-5 not sure what model.
Hind sight is 20/20, the Weber is a great carb if I could keep it tuned!

The actual Nutter Bypass only took 15-20min removing all the useless vac tubes and rerouting lines took a couple hours with a mandatory beer brake thrown in. I should have it on the road by tomorrow afternoon!

Was it purely electrical or did some fuel leak onto the exhaust manifold?
I had cleaned my carb with that AMS Oil foamer and I think some dripped over onto the gunk build up by my valve cover. That stuff is really flammable so I think it just hit its flash point and then was burning oily gunk as fuel. It looked worse then it was and I think I did more with the extinguisher then the flames did.
I am heading out to finish rewrapping the wires here in a few.
