I've been holding off on lifting my Jeep but found a deal I can't pass up. I was looking at the SkyJacker 2 inch BB with hydro shocks... I added it to my wish list as something to keep an eye on...
Low and behold, someone posted up for sale a new in the box Skyjacker lift with hydro shocks for $200,.... I think the universe was nudging me, so I bought it... He's shipping it tomorrow and hopefully there will be a nice day to do some wrenching....
Is there anyone who is relatively close that would be interested in helping with installing it? I'm willing to drive, even up to a couple of hours (kinda risky considering I'll be a couple hours away from home tearing up the understuff but it'd be cool to meet some folks)
Anyway, thoughts, comments, suggestions, assistance are all welcome...
Someone psoted a link to a good write up on the install of a similar kit...

I would have to ask your expectations of a 2" lift? Also what type of wheeling do you do? You may be setting yourself up to spend money twice instead of buying a 3 or 4.5" for 33"s or 35"s.
If your wheeling is kept to dirt roads, 3 rated trails and you only need a 31 or possibly 33 under the Jeep you can get away 2" BB lift. If your plans are to tackle 4-5 rated trails and 35s you might want to save your pennies now and spend more later rather than spend now and more later.![]()
he has a jk you can run 35"s on 2 in lift
DOH! I guess I should known that with the link stating JK in it. In that case go for it!![]()
Thanks guys!! I'm currently running 32 BFG M/T's and plan on staying at this size until I can spare the cash to regear... 3.21's even with these 32's feels very weak and sluggish...
A buddy and I are putting the lift on this weekend and I'll definately post some pics...
Oh, and I'm a Web Wheeler so I'll eventually need to go with some 37 boggers..![]()
